Bar codes, which can range from simple sequential numeric component tracking to product identification/regulatory bar coded label sets, can consist of a validated, unique numeric or alphanumeric series printed on a label.
They are available in many common protocols, including:
- Code 39
- Code 128
- UPC
- Hexadecimal
BAL provides the latest in 2-D bar codes. These compact labels allow you to contain a large amount of information in a conveniently small label space. BAL manufactures these labels by printing the coded sequences on materials such as polyester and polymide (kapton). In harsh environments such as wave and reflow solder processing, polymide substrate can withstand intermittent temperature exposures of up to 500°F (260°C), and it is the top choice for tracking PCBs through processes.
BAR CODE LABEL SETS
Each of our bar code label sets is designed to travel with your product on the manufacturing line to provide
product identification, as well as a self-contained kit of labels. To further ensure that your process goes smoothly, we provide a printout showing complete and uninterrupted start-to-finish numbers for each roll that we print. By using a computer-controlled monitor, we are able to track duplicates, missing numbers, or any incorrect or non-readable sequences - ensuring quality control until your product goes out the door.
